Your welcome Frugal Gardener, thanks for stopping by~
Georgiann,
I use an elderberry concentrate that I get from our health food store in my little town. I love to mix up a tall glass of water, freshly squeezed lemon juice, elderberry concentrate and stevia and sip on that in the evenings.
A couple of years ago we planted an elderberry bush in our back yard but the goats kept escaping and eating it up. Finally it's not been eaten for a whole season and has grown taller than me (which is not saying a whole lot at 5'!!) and had blooms this year. The kind I bought is supposed to be self-pollinating but I'm not so sure now since we didn't see ANY berries at all. Hoping for a good harvest this coming year so that we can make our own elderberry treats!!
Thanks for sharing!!
Love,
Kris
